Salvador Rivera  Principal, Growth Strategies

Salvador Rivera joined Helix in 2018, where he leads a new initiative as the Principal for Startup Growth Strategies. Salvador came to Helix with over ten years of experience as the Sr. Director of Human Resources for both Zymergen and Amyris. Salvador brings with him a wealth of strategic insights on scaling startups and has helped build two of the most recognized SynBio companies in the nation. Joining Amyris as employee number 30, Salvador helped scale the company to almost 400 people. He also helped grow Zymergen to over 400 employees in just two years, starting as number 35. Salvador understands the many nuances of building a startup and is eager to help new companies navigate the challenges that all startups face.
